There is a quiet, restorative power in nature- one that heals not just the body but the spirit . During the long months of isolation in the Covid -19 pandemic, I found myself yearning and turning to the natural world for solace . When I would go outside , hearing the rustling leaves and noticing the grounding presence of trees, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief, as if nature itself was embracing me, offering comfort where words could not. This experience inspired me to create this series.

The Japanese practice shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, is based on this very idea- the belief that immersing oneself in nature can be deeply therapeutic. Science now supports what we have known intuitively for centuries: that time spent in green spaces reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, and brings profound sense of inner peace. But beyond the physical benefit, nature has a way of quieting the mind, reminding us that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.

Through this series, I hope to capture the essence of this healing connection, that shows us she is always there to restore and renew.

I chose a young man symbolising this future of possibilities, whom by further connecting with his vulnerability and sensitive side, can become more nurturing and less exploitative, creating a more harmonious relationship with Mother Nature.

Moreover Quantum Physics has already demonstrated how everything in the universe is interconnected at a fundamental level. Hence personally I feel that if nature has the power to heal us, we almost have a responsibility to reciprocate that healing, since we can.

Healings of roses, now called to be

Whispering in the wind, that he can see

Fluttering in air, like a dream

The healing blooms, make the spirit beam

In the soft winds, he can feel their power

A young man, growing more every hour.

Winds of magic, so sweetly blowing

In the air, flowers start glowing

A young man, so deep in thought

Feeling the pain, undoing the knots

Senses are heightened , sensitivity brought

The gentle breeze, now so light

Touches his soul, day and night
